Woodland Walkies
About this field
This is one of our most popular walking locations and it books up quickly. The site offers over an acre of fully fenced, dense woodland with lots of trees and smells to explore, and paths wind around the enclosure to guide your walk. It's quite hilly, but there's a bench at the top to rest before your descent.
The woodland is a totally natural enclosure and we do everything we can to keep it that way, so please take the same safety precautions you would in any woodland. After high winds we always check the enclosure before opening. The woodland floor can be very slippery through autumn and winter depending on rainfall, so please wear suitable footwear. If high winds are forecast we may need to close the woodland, and we'll contact you if this happens.
Our large private tea and coffee shed is on the right after the entrance, with a small seating area inside and benches and tables just outside to enjoy your drink in the woods.
Poo bins and bags are provided at regular points around the woodland walk and at two spots on the way back to the car park, and there's an outside water tap with bowls by the refreshment shed. Maximum 2 cars on site.

Only arrive for your booked slot
Don't arrive before your start time, and leave the field before your session ends so the next customer can start on time.

Wait for the previous customer to leave
Don't enter until they have departed, even if they are running late. If someone overstays, call us and we will contact them.

Secure the gate behind you
Make sure the gate is closed and locked before letting your dog out. Never force or push the gates, as this damages the motor.

Never leave your dog unattended
Dogs must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If your dog shows signs of ill health, please don't attend.

Pick up after your dog
Bags and bins are provided on site. Please take all litter with you or use the bins.
